At Mattress By Appointment Montgomery, we’re committed to getting your new mattress to you quickly, safely, and affordably—whether you’re right here in Texas or anywhere across the country. This policy outlines how we handle shipping, delivery timelines, tracking, and exceptions for all orders placed via our website or by appointment.

1. Shipping Coverage

We ship mattresses and eligible products nationwide across the United States, including the contiguous 48 states. At this time, we do not offer shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international locations.

2. Shipping Method: Bed in a Box

All mattresses are shipped in a compressed, roll-packed format (commonly referred to as bed in a box) via trusted carriers such as FedEx, UPS, or regional partners.
  • Mattresses arrive in a sealed box for easy handling and setup.
  • Most packages fit through standard doors and hallways.
  • No tools or assembly required—just unbox, unroll, and rest.

3. Processing & Delivery Time

  • Order Processing Time: 1–3 business days after purchase
  • Standard Shipping Time: 3–7 business days after shipment
  • Total estimated delivery time: 4–10 business days (depending on location)
  • Rural or remote areas may experience slightly longer delivery windows
You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number via email or text once your order has shipped.

4. Shipping Fees

  • Standard Shipping:
  • Oversized items or remote delivery zones may incur a surcharge (quoted before checkout or by your sales rep)
  • Shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable once the order has shipped

5. Delivery Notes & Responsibilities

  • We do not currently offer in-home setup or haul-away services for bed-in-a-box shipments.
  • Packages are delivered to your doorstep or designated delivery area.
  • You do not need to be home to receive your mattress unless your location requires secure access (e.g., gated communities or apartment lobbies).
Please track your package and retrieve it as soon as possible after delivery.

6. Risk of Loss & Damage

Once your mattress is marked as delivered by the carrier, ownership and responsibility transfer to you. We recommend retrieving your box promptly to avoid theft, damage, or exposure to the elements.
If your mattress arrives damaged or incorrect:
  • Report the issue to us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide order details, photos, and a description
  • We’ll investigate and resolve the issue with a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the situation

7. Cancellations & Address Changes

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement if they have not shipped.
After that, cancellations may not be possible.
If you need to change your shipping address, contact us immediately. Address changes are not guaranteed after the package has been shipped.

8. Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal, or failed delivery attempts:
  • You will be responsible for reshipping fees
  • In some cases, a restocking fee may apply
